Andy Gibb - After Dark
After Dark is an album by Andy Gibb. It was his final studio album, and was released in 1980. With drugs impeding his previous ability to write and even fully sing the tracks on his own record, Gibb was only able to forge his performance with nearly intrusive support from brother Barry. In March 1980 the last of Gibb's Top Ten singles charted just ahead of the album's release. "Desire", was recorded for the Bee Gees' 1979 album Spirits Having Flown, and featured their original track complete with Andy's original "guest vocal" track. A second single, "I Can't Help It", a duet with family friend Olivia Newton-John, reached the Top Twenty. [info courtesy: wikipedia.org]

Inuit vs Commercial Seal Hunt (Lies from Big Fur)
In my research of the Aboriginal question regarding the seal hunt, it is clear that the Aboriginal peoples of Northern America are concerned with what would happen if the EU once again decides to have a complete ban on seal products. In the 1980's the European Commission ban lead to the tanking of the seal skin market because not even they (First Nation Peoples) were allowed to sell their seal skin products in Europe under its guidelines. It had a drastic impact on their ability to survive. The EU is again considering a ban because of what they see the European settlers of Canada doing in their "commercial" seal hunt. Not because of what they see the Aboriginals doing. Having said that the EC (the Executive Branch of the EU) released a statement on Sept. 7th '06 saying "The statement calls on the European Commission to immediately draft a regulation to ban the import, export and sale of all harp and hooded seal products, while excluding from the ban traditional Inuit seal hunting, which accounts for just three percent of the total cull." The Aboriginals need to recognize that their enemy is not the European Union, but indeed it is the very people they fight along side, the European fishermen of Canada. They have lied to you to make you believe your heritage and sustainability will be taken away from you. Why are you protesting the cessation of the commercial seal hunt when it wont even effect you. In fact it will help you by allowing a corner on the market to fall squarely in your hands. The First Nations people need to redirect their attention to lobby not European law, but Canadian law. Aboriginal North Americans are fighting for their enemy. TAKE YOUR SOVEREIGN HERITAGE BACK! First Nations of Canada, kick the European settlers out of the seal hunt. They are ruining it for you....again.
