A Nelena and Jemi Tale: (Episode Thirty) Tell Me Why
Episode 30 is up! Please comment/rate/subscribe! (Song: Taylor Swift - Tell Me Why) *****Recap: Joe and Kevin had a talk about why Kevin broke it off with Ashley. When Kevin told Joe that Ashley isn't bad at all, Joe began to feel bad, because he's the reason for their split. Meanwhile, Selena and Miley were at the park, and when Cody showed up, Selena ditched to let them have their private time. Cody offered to walk Miley home, and she gladly accepted. Later on, Joe called Ashley to work things out.***** (Ashley felt her jaw drop. Why on Earth was Joe calling her?) Joe: Look, I know I'm the last person you expected to hear from. Ashley: (annoyed) That's the truth. Joe: But my brother told me that the reason he dumped you was because of me. Ashley: (sarcastic) No, really? (Ashley rolled her eyes, and Joe sighed loudly.) Joe: (kindly) Anyways, I just wanted to apologize to you. Ashley: (shocked) WHAT? ((MEANWHILE)) (Cody and Miley finally reached Miley's house. Neither of them wanted the walk to end, though. The two walked up the front stairs and were on the porch.) Miley: Thanks for walking me home, Cody. (Cody smiled, and figured now would be the perfect time to ask her out on a real date.) Cody: (casual) Hey, did you hear about the carnival this weekend? Miley: Yeah, I did. Cody: (calmly) We should go together. (Miley felt her heart literally stop. She tried her hardest not to pass out. But she was so ecstatic! Cody was finally asking her out!) Miley: (happy) Yeah! That sounds fun! (With that Cody smiled, and started to walk away. Then Miley called his name out.) Miley: Cody! (Cody turned around.) Cody: Yeah? (Miley walked back over to him, and grabbed a pen out of her purse. Then she grabbed his hand and wrote her number on it.) Miley: (coyly) Don't forget to call me. (She winked slyly, and walked back up the porch steps and into her house. Cody stood there for a moment, glanced at his hand, grinned, and slowly walked away.) ((MEANWHILE)) (Nick and Selena were at the basketball court, playing basketball. They were both having a blast and enjoying their downtime together.) Selena: So I heard there's gonna be a carnival this weekend. (She shot the basketball into the air, and the ball swished into the hoop. Selena grinned and did a victory dance. Nick shook his head, disappointed in the fact that he was losing. But he eventually cracked a smile.) Nick: Me too. (Nick tried to grab the ball from Selena, but she easily got away from him, shot the ball, and scored another two points. Nick groaned loudly.) Selena: (flirting) So are you gonna ask me? Nick: Ask you to what? Selena: (impatient) Ask me to the carnival! Nick: (complaining) But I don't wanna go! (Selena tossed the ball to Nick and sat down, desperate for a quick break. Nick plopped down next to her.) Selena: (concerned) Is it because of your fear of rides? Nick: (defensive) No! No, of course not. (Selena smiled sympathetically, and grabbed Nick's hand. She knew he hated rides, and she didn't want to push him into going on any.) Selena: (lovingly) We don't have to go on the rides. We can play games and eat junk food. (Nick felt very grateful that Selena was so kind and sensitive, especially since she knew he despised roller coasters and such.) Nick: (giving in) Alright. I'll go. But no rides! Selena: (promising) No rides. (Selena, with a sudden burst of energy, stood up and picked the up the basketball.) Selena: Wanna play another game? Nick: (tired) No way. You kicked my butt last game. I'm beat. Selena: But the score was only 43 to 2! (Nick gave her a look.) Selena: (giggling) And the only reason you made that one shot was because I was tying my shoes. (Nick gave her another look.) Nick: (begging) Don't make me play, Sel. Selena: (teasing) Oh, come on! Are you too chicken to play? (Nick laughed loudly. Quickly, he shot up from his seat, and stole the ball from Selena's hands.) Nick: (smiling) You're on. ((MEANWHILE)) Ashley: (shocked) WHAT? Joe: Yeah. I want you to know that I never meant for you and Kevin to break up. Ashley: (irritated) Yes you did! You hated me! And you still do! Joe: (sincerely) I did, but now I don't. Ashley: (still annoyed) So tell me why all of a sudden you don't hate me. Joe: Well, Kevin told me how you really hate Aly and AJ. (Ashley immediately felt tears form in her eyes. Her deepest darkest secret was now out to the person she trusted the least. Ashley felt a mix of sadness and anger rise inside of her. But she was mostly angry. She really began to despise Kevin at that moment.) Ashley: (mad) He told you that? Joe: Yeah, and Ashley: (furious) I can't believe him! He swore to me that he would never tell anyone! He is such a jerk! I hate him! (With that Ashley hung up, leaving Joe stunned on the other end.) Joe: (sarcastic) Well, that went well.
