N: ooook. Why does everyone look....confused? K: I don't know whats going on. Im going back to bed J: me too. life doesn't make sense anymore [they went upstairs] N: nice clothes [smiles] C: well, it was this or my dress N: hey, wanna watch a movie? C: I better get home and shower and stuff. I'll just see you tomorrow. N: ok. you alright? C: yeah im fine. ill see you later. Bye. [I gave nick a hug and started up to his room to get my stuff. I grabbed my shoes and my dress and went back downstairs. As I headed to the door nick grabbed my hand and spun me around facing him. He put his forehead to mine and put his hand on my cheek. He sighed and said, "I'll prove you wrong." I smiled and said, "please do." He gently kissed me and I went next door to my house. I ran upstairs and showered and changed and called livy. I told her everything and she screamed for about five minutes and then yelled she was coming over. In less than ten minutes she was running up the stairs into my room. she said oh my gosh quite a few times before she calmed down.] O: so do you believe him? C: I don't know. I want to, but I'm not sure I should O: who woulda thought. [The next day I got up for school and got ready. I went to my car and guess who was leaning against the front hood? Nick. I hit unlock and we both climbed in.] C: what do you plan to do at school today? N: be myself C: which one? N: very funny. [We drove to school and I parked my car. When I got out I grabbed my bag from the back seat and slung it over my shoulder. I hit lock and walked around the car where nick was now in front of me. He smiled and walked next to me into the school. we went our separate ways to our lockers. When I got to mine Olivia was at hers, right next to mine. We talked for a few minutes about random stuff and walked into homeroom. We sat in our seats and started talking about all the weekend gossip. Nick came into class and took his seat behind me and leaned into our conversation. When he heard what we were talking about he laughed and joined in telling us what he had heard. After another two periods I headed to history, which nick was in. I walked in and he was already there. I sat down and the teacher closed the door and began the lecture. But instead of the usual lecture he started telling us about a partner project we would be doing. He would be assigning partners. I prayed that I didn't get leah, aka,the school slut because shes so annoying. Apparently, my prayers were answered because she wasn't my partner. But she got partnered with nick. And she seemed very happy about that considering his reputation. When the teacher had assigned them, nick looked at me with a 'help-me' look. This was gonna be a long tough week. I got lucky. My partner was one of my good friends, james. After school, nick and I got into my car and james followed behind us to my house. The car ride was a little awkward but it went on.] N: so...do you like james? C: as a good friend, why? N: I don't know...I know me and you aren't dating but... C: nick, I don't like james N: ok. well, leah... C: mm great. She'll be loads of fun N: I told you. Im gonna prove to you im not like that. Im not gonna let her do anything. C: mmk. Well, we're here. I'll see ya later N: bye [kisses her cheek] next: ch. 12 :]...in a few minutes
