Rice urges Pakistan to cooperate in investigations

New Delhi, December 3 (ANI): Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice urged Pakistan on Wednesday to cooperate fully and transparently in investigations into the Mumbai attacks that have threatened India- Pakistan relations. India has said that most, if not all, of the 10 militants who rampaged through its financial capital were from Pakistan including the one survivor.

US extends full assistance to India in the Mumbai attacks

New Delhi, November 30 (ANI): US Ambassador in India, David Mulford, condemned the terrorist attack in Mumbai and extended full support to the Indian government. Mulford met India's Foreign Secretary, Shiv Shankar Menon on Saturday and extended full cooperation with the Indian government to carry out the investigations He further added that United States is bound to cooperate and provide assistance.

The President's visit to these countries is being seen as part of an effort to give a fresh impetus to India's "Look East" policy.

Kachagari/Peshawar, November 23 (ANI): Pakistan has reopened the camps previously set up to provide shelter for Afghans. But the camps have not been open for Afghanis, this time these camps have been opened for Pakistanis made homeless by the latest offensives against Islamist militants in the northwest frontier region. Kachagari, an area near the Khyber tribal region, was closed for Afghan refugees last year.

The participants admitted on Friday that they could do little more than hope for a softening in Beijing's stance. Samdong Rinpoche, Tibetan Prime Minister in-exile said, any decision taken in the meeting will be made public in due time.

New Delhi, November 21 (ANI): Chinese acrobats put up a spectacular show of their traditional art form at New Delhi on Thursday. The acrobats from the Tianjin Acrobatic Troupe, made creative use of props like lamps, hats to enthrall the audiences at the show. Twirling and twisting their bodies, the acrobats moved around with agility as they showcased their art. The act left the audiences mesmerized and gave a standing ovation to the performers.
