School Daze (featuring the Monkeys at the St. Louis Zoo)
These 16mm Home Movies were shot at the St. Louis Zoo circa 1950. The musical soundtrack is from the Al Myers collection of Home Recordings. There's a live WHKC radio recording from 1949 featuring Curly Herdman (and Al) playing with The Georgia Crackers, and a unique Home Recording cut by Al Myers of the famous fiddle player Curly Fox. Al can be heard on the electric guitar. The remaining musicians are members of The Georgia Crackers. No date on this recording, but it was most likely made around 1950.
