Wings - A Canticle to Forlorn
Wings was a Finnish Death Metal band formed 1992 in Vaasa,Finland. They released their first demo "Bitterness" in 1992. In 1993 Adipocere Records took notice and released an EP "Thorns On Thy Oaken Throne". A demo "The Sun" was released in 1994. After Mikki Salo (Was the vocalist of Cartilage) had established Woodcut Records,they released their first and last album "Diatribes" in 1995. Members were from such bands like Enochian Crescent,Vomiturition,Cartilage. Kai Hahto of Wintersun and Rotten Sound fame played in the band. This is from "Thorns On Thy Oaken Throne".

Vomiturition - A Journey Through Life
Vomiturition was a Finnish Death Metal band formed in 1988. For some time they were called "Vomiturion". They released their first demo "Expecto Ressurectionem Mortuorum" in 1991 .They released an EP "Flesheater Musicians on Their Last Supper" in 1992. An EP "Head Tales" was released in 1993. A promo tape and an album "A Leftover" was released 1995. Although there weren't exactly a "Vaasa Death Metal scene",Vaasa had a few Death Metal/Grindcore bands at the time,such as Cartilage,Wings,Rotten Sound,Festerday etc.. Kai Hahto and Mika Aalto of Rotten Sound fame played in the band. The band consisted of members from Cartilage,Rotten Sound,Black Dawn etc. This is from "Flesheater Musicians on Their Last Supper".
