Jack's Solo Battle vs. Lady Harken III (Wild Arms)

Jack's Solo Battle vs. Lady Harken III (Wild Arms)

Jack vs. Harken @ Arctica Castle Jack's level: 23 255 item duplication trick is BANNED. I won't be using it - don't ask. For nooblets and nabs. Notes: - This is the one battle where I had to level up Jack at those few points in the game I did. I set a limit to go no higher than 25. Although this is a Cecilia solo game, this particular battle cannot be skipped, so...yeah..we have to do this battle. - I show Jack's setup before the battle. I gave him the Orb of Power to boost his max HP by 25%, which helps, and gave him the Life Rune, which gives him the best strength and attack boost out of the runes I have so far, as well as the best armor for him at this point. I've also dumped all of my Secret Signs that I obtained thus far into Heal Blade and Magnum Fang so they both cost 1 MP, which are the only two fast draws I use in this battle. It's all I need, really. All the others are either still unlearned or are useless. I also haven't given Jack any stat boosting apples as of this point; they all went to Cecilia. Yes, even the Power Apples (part of why she hits so hard physically). - Anyway. Harken has 18,000 HP and has the same three attacks she had when I fought her at the Demon's Lab (see part 19 for that). We gotta be careful here because her Magnum Fang does 700-ish damage, which is nearly enough to cut Jack's HP in half (from full HP). This means that we CANNOT see three Magnum Fangs in a row, or two Magnum Fangs or an Asrael or Harken Tempest. Not without healing in-between, anyway. - We can safely attack Harken with either Magnum Fang (if below 75% force) or Sonic Vision (if above 75% force) when Jack's HP is either full or at least above 1000 and heal up with either Heal Blade or a Potion Berry when his HP falls below 800. Problem is since Jack is so underlevelled, Harken always acts first, so we have to anticipate her attacks. The only time where it's relatively safe for Jack to pull off two attacks in a row is if she either uses Asrael or Tempest...

Cecilia Solo Battles 23 & 24 - Turask & Demon Prophet (Wild Arms)

Cecilia Solo Battles 23 & 24 - Turask & Demon Prophet (Wild Arms)

Battle 23 vs. Turask & Battle 24 vs. Demon Prophet Cecilia's level: 44 255 item duplication trick is BANNED. I won't be using it - don't ask. For nooblets and nabs. Notes: - Turask wasn't too bad. Horn Spike and Cut Down hits fairly hard, but it's nothing a few Shields and our many sources of healing can't overcome. I opted to use High Guardian Nua Shakks here since he's weak to thunder. - During the prison escape part, I needed to get Jack to learn his Magnum Fang for his solo battle with Harken (which is coming after this dungeon, by the way). Other than that, I just used the encounter resetting trick like I did in the Tripillar earlier to safely unite Rudy and Jack with Cecilia again. - Demon Prophet was also pretty tame. His elementals do about the same damage as Turask's strongest skills, so nothing exciting going on here.

Cecilia Solo Battle 19 - Lady Harken II (Wild Arms)

Battle 19 vs. Lady Harken @ Demon's Lab Cecilia's level: 38 255 item duplication trick is BANNED. I won't be using it - don't ask. For nooblets and nabs. Notes: -Not much change from the first battle. Only thing different here is that she uses Magnum Fang rather than Guilty Blade.

Cecilia Solo Battle 17 - Lady Harken I (Wild Arms)

Battle 17 vs. Lady Harken @ Dragon Shrine Cecilia's level: 34 255 item duplication trick is BANNED. I won't be using it - don't ask. For nooblets and nabs. Notes: - Meh, I decided to use Rage again. She's not even worth summoning guardians on, and that's sad. - This is the last battle where I'll have nothing but simple magic. Next fight, I'll be packing advanced spells. Finally.

Are You Ready to Practice Witchcraft pt 2

Are You Ready to Practice Witchcraft pt 2

The Wiccan Rede - Bide ye Wiccan laws ye must, in perfect love and perfect trust. Live and let live, fairly take and fairly give. Form the circle thrice about, to keep all evil spirits out. You bind ye spell every time, let ye spell be spoke in rhyme. Soft of eye, light of touch, speak ye little, listen much. Deosil go by the waxing moon, singing out ye Witches Rune. When the Ladys moon is new, kiss your hand to her times two. When the moon rides at her peak, then ye hearts desire seek. Heed the North winds mighty gale, lock the door and trim the sail. When comes from the South, love will kiss thee on the mouth. When the wind blows from the East, except the new and set the feast. Nine woods in ye cauldron go, burn then fast and burn them slow. Elder be ye Ladys tree, burn it not or cursed yell be. When the wheel begins to turn, soon ye Beltaine firell burn. When the wheel hath turned to Yule, light the log the Horned One rules. Heed ye flower, bush and tree, by the Lady blessed be. Where the rippling waters flow, cast a stone and truth yell know. When ye have all hold a need, harken not to others greed. With a fool no season spend, nor be counted as his friend. Merry meet and merry part, bright the cheeks and warm the heart. Mind ye threefold law ye should, three times bad and three times good. When misfortune is anow, wear the blue star upon thy brow. True in love ye must ever be, lest thy love be false to thee. In these eight words the Wiccan Rede fulfill, An ye harm none, do what ye will.

FE7: Ch 27 Playthrough (HHM) (2/2)

FE7: Ch 27 Playthrough (HHM) (2/2)

Part 2 of 2. There are two versions to this chapter. You will get Jerme's map (this one, Ch27b) if the sum of all your weapon users' levels is greater than the sum of your magic users' levels. You will get Kenneth's map (Ch27a) if it is the other way around. Note: The map screenshot of this chapter on RPGC does not show the HHM version of this map, which is considerably better fortified than the HNM/EM versions. Ch27b is the more difficult of the two chapters (at least, in my opinion), and I will explain why: You can recruit one of two possible characters in this chapter (a or b); Harken (Hero) or Karel (Swordsmaster). Statistically speaking, they are about equally strong (and useful); though the former carries a Brave Sword (only one in the game) and the ladder carries the Wo Dao (one of the only two in the game; the other wielded by Karla). To have Harken show up, you must hold off 9 turns without having to unlock 4 doors; and to have Karel show up, you'll need to unlock 4 doors by turn 9. Harken can be recruited using Eliwood or Marcus (or Isadora, but I'm not too sure about this one), and Karel can only be recruited by the protagonist of your story (in this case, Hector). I am personally a swordsmaster fan, and a Karel fan, so I'm going for the harder route on the harder map. (NOTE: Unlocking Harken/Karel on Ch27a requires a different method, which I will not get into here) Trying to unlock 4 doors within 9 turns sounds easy; but is rather difficult with only two thieves because the buildings are so far apart; so I personally suggest bringing at least one more stave user that can use Unlock (Stave level D) and make use of all the dropped door keys you get. (NOTE: the long building to the furthest north has two doors, but opening it will only count as one of the four you need). This chapter, like the previous few, get quite a few Wyvern Riders/Lords as reinforcements (Northwest end), as well as Falcoknights (Southeast) and Cavaliers/Paladins & Nomadic...
