Micky Rosenfeld, an Israeli police spokesman, said the rockets fell around the town of Nahariya, about 8km south of the Lebanese border, early on Thursday. The attacks came after Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Lebanon's Hezbollah, warned that "all possibilities" are open against Israel as he gave a speech condemning Israel's offensive in Gaza and voicing support for Hamas. The Shia Muslim Hezbollah movement fought a month-long war with Israel in 2006 in which about 1,200 mostly Lebanese civilians were killed. Al Jazeera's Rula Amin, reporting from Beirut, said there had been no immediate claim of responsibility, but Lebanese security forces were confirming that "one or two rockets" had been fired across the border. Lebanon is also home to thousands of Palestinian refugees. Jacky Rowland, reporting from southern Israel, said the firing of rockets from Lebanon "could mean the opening of a second front" in the war on Gaza. Nasrallah speech Addressing tens of thousands of supporters via video link at his stronghold in Beirut's suburbs, Nasrallah said on Wednesday: "I say to [Ehud] Olmert [Israel's prime minister], the loser, the vanquished in Lebanon that 'you cannot overcome Hamas or Hezbollah'." The comments marked the first time he has spoken so openly on the possibility of a renewed conflict with Israel since the war in Gaza began on December 27. Nasrallah warned that the 2006 conflict would be "but a walk in the park" compared to what awaits Israel if it launches a new offensive on Lebanon. Storm after the lull: fighting rages in Gaza Israel has resumed shelling Gaza after a pause to allow aid agencies to deliver humanitarian supplies to Palestinians. These are the terms of the recently-agreed humanitarian corridor deal. During Wednesdays fighting, Israeli attacks killed a dozen Palestinians in Gaza. Meanwhile, Hamas fired some twenty rockets into Israel. While the Israeli government welcomed a ceasefire proposal from Egypt and France, it attached conditions. It said there must be a complete end to rocket attacks against Israel and an arms embargo must be imposed on Hamas. Hamas, in turn, demanded the Gaza's border crossings be reopened. Israel is said to be considering the third phase of its operation, which will see its troops moving into more populated areas to target Hamas militants. Earlier, UN officials said that at least 40 people, including children, have been killed in an Israeli strike on a United Nations-run school in Gaza. The attack in the north of the region is the single most deadly incident since Israel began its offensive 11 days ago. The UN has confirmed that 55 others injured when Israeli tanks shelled the area near the school. Palestinian medics say the building was being used as a shelter for Palestinians fleeing the fighting. Israeli officials say Hamas militants had earlier launched mortar fire from the school. According to Palestinian sources, 688 have been killed and more than 3,000 wounded in Gaza since Israel began its offensive 11 days ago. At least 195 children have been killed. The Israeli military say it has killed around 130 Palestinian militants since their ground invasion began three days ago, but local doctors say many of the casualties are civilians. ...

This song is "Not Listening" by Papa Roach. I first heard this song while playing Gran Turismo 4. This video is about the huge war in Lebanon back in 2006. 1,200 people were killed and around 2,400 were injured. Lebanon is almsot finished with reconstruction, and let's hope the current conflict in Gaza Strip won't destroy that again. But there is still around 100,000 land mines scattered across the small country, and the crime rate is still very high.
