My First Real Guitar Song
Yeah basically the title says it... I know I'm not the best at guitar and I know the song kinda sucks and I know I messed up in some places, but hey give me a break it's the first song I've ever made from scratch. I got some pointers for some parts of the song from my more musically talented friends, but there's a couple parts that I did on the spot without rehearsal, aka the little part with high notes which is supposed to be where the solo goes, but I play rhythm when I play with my friends so making a solo would take like a week for me because I'm not too great at improv... So basically that part is what I would play behind the Lead guitarist during the solo, and the dive at the end of it is because I know how to do them and I'm not sure if David has learned that yet, so I normally do the dives when we play. Also, that little flub you hear after the dive is an effect of some whammy bar distortion still being there. The song doesn't have a name as of yet, but it might get one soon. This song was intended for two guitars, but since I don't have 2 or another person to help me with it, I can't very well do it to it's fullest potential... Leave comments, send me messages, and tell me what you think and tell me what I could do better. Please don't flame me about being bad at guitar because as stated above I know I'm not the best.
