"The Best Thing That Has Happened" from Sondheim's "Road Show"

Stephen Sondheim makes his comeback to the Broadway stage after years of inactivity. This time, he re-imagined his critical failure "Bounce" (who Hal Prince helmed in 2003) into a new show called "Road Show." It tells the story of Addison Mizner and his brother Wilson Mizner's adventures across America from the beginning of the 20th century during the Alaskan Gold rush to the Florida real estate boom in the 1930s. The 2008 Off-Broadway production had the opposite reaction from critics who initally disliked "Bounce" - New York Times writer Ben Brantley praised the new show, as well as the actors. He further wrote that the musical is a "trimmed-down, toughened-up and seriously darkened new edition of the musical formerly known as Bounce... the shows greatest interest for fans of Mr. Sondheim lies in seeing how what was once meant to be light and buoyant fare has been reshaped into something more somber." "The great living master of the American musical has returned to the shadows where, artistically at least, he has always felt most at home." Alexander Gemignani, Michael Cerveris, and Claybourne Elder star. John Doyle was the director of the 2008 Off-Broadway production.

Moved the trailer part 2

The progress on Snowman's trailer is continuing. We have removed the side door and should rivet the new metal soon. Good old Georgia duct tape is being used temporarily. We had an issue with tires and rims. They have been replaced and need alittle more paint. We have also started on the trailer lights. The reefer doors are being repaired. After the lights and rear bumper are repaired we'll move it to the paint shop.
