Time-Lapse of Pittsburgh Arena Construction: Sept. 25, 2008

A single day of construction on the new Pittsburgh Sports & Exhibition arena from the downtown offices of Goldberg, Persky, & White. We are the largest law firm in Western Pennsylvania serving injured people & we specialize in asbestos and mesothelioma litigaton. Our Pittsburgh offices are directly across from the new arena which will replace the old "Igloo." This video shows a single day's--September 25, 2008, to be exact--construction work.

Kemu Kerstin Mueller An exploration of virtual environments for living, working and playing for a masters thesis in Architecture in 1998 at the University of Stutgart initiated Kerstin's exploration of computer generated graphics. Her work won an award of distinction from the university and placed in the top 10 of Taiwan's FIEDAD computer architecture award in 1999. Her virtual and augmented reality work continued with a collaboration with the University of Washington's Human Interface Technology lab in Seattle. Kerstin's "Shigo" illustrated the ARToolkit technology at the SIGGRAPH 2001 computer graphics conference. This research led to the augmented reality installation "Distraction". 6 large paintings define the boundries and connection points of a virtual environment through which one can walk. "Distraction" again placed in the top 10 in the 2002 FIEDAD award. Her first solo work for SOURCE "fragment", highlights her crisp primary-color abstract three dimension aesthetic. Kerstin...

I captured this time-lapse video on 6th December 2008 in Manchester, UK. the view you can see is looking towards the MEN Arena. the streets you can see are Cathedral Approach, Victoria Street and Chapel Street. Things you can see... The Manchester Arena top/left Manchester Victoria Railway Station Top/right Manchester Cathedral middle/right This video is made from 668 individual photographs taken every 10 seconds between 704pm and 855pm.
