The exo-exine of pollen grains show centrifugal thickenings but they never show centripetal ribs. Fames and MacDaniels (1947) state on p. 49 in their "Introduction to Plant Anatomy" that: "The external wall layers and surface projections of spores and pollen grains are formed in part by tapetal fluid or mother cell cytoplasm." (There- fore, only centrifugal thickenings can occur on walls of pollen grains.) It seems unlikely, that the particles shown in figure 10, a and 6, are pollen grains or spores. It is known that spores of fungi do not fluoresce. Hofler and Pecksieder write (1942, p. 117): "Angesichts der weiten Verbreitung

Deadtime Stories (2008)
The anthology, which are all written and directed by Jeff Monahan, will consist of three 30-minute films, including "On Sabbath Hill," the story being filmed at Seton Hill.
"On Sabbath Hill" is a ghost story about a professor who is a stickler for student attendance. When his wandering eye causes a female student to kill herself, her ghost continues to come to class.
Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus, was the site for some filming of "Dust," the first of three stories in the anthology, directed by Michael Fischa.
"Dust" tells the story of a security guard at a laboratory who steals Mars dust to cure his cancer-ridden wife. It works, but with some unintended side effects.
The third story, as yet to be determined, is expected to be filmed in February

René François Ghislain Magritte Happy Birthday! Part 1
Magritte was born in Lessines, in the province of Hainaut, in 1898, the eldest son of Léopold Magritte, a tailor, and Adeline, a milliner. He began lessons in drawing in 1910. In 1912, his mother committed suicide by drowning herself in the River Sambre. Magritte was present when her body was retrieved from the water. The image of his mother floating, her dress obscuring her face, may have influenced a 19271928 series of paintings of people with cloth obscuring their faces, including Les Amants, but Magritte disliked this explanation.[1] He studied at the Académie Royale des Beaux-Arts in Brussels for two years until 1918. In 1922 he married Georgette Berger, whom he had met in 1913.[2]
The Son of Man, 1964.
Magritte worked as an assistant designer in a wallpaper factory, and was a poster and advertisement designer until 1926 when a contract with Galerie la Centaure in Brussels made it possible for him to paint full-time. In 1926, Magritte produced his first surreal painting, The Lost Jockey (Le jockey perdu), and held his first exhibition in Brussels in 1927. Critics heaped abuse on the exhibition. Depressed by the failure, he moved to Paris where he became friends with André Breton, and became involved in the surrealist group.
When Galerie la Centaure closed and the contract income ended, he returned to Brussels and worked in advertising. Then, with his brother, he formed an agency, which earned him a living wage.
Surrealist patron Edward James allowed Magritte,...

The James M. DuPont Meteorite Collection - which will react with the Feulgen reagent to produce the pink color. The Gridley staining was primarily developed (195vS) as "A Stain for Fungi in Tissue Sections." It is the combination of Gomori's aldehyde-fuchsin stain and the Hotchkiss-McManus technique. As Gridley states (p. 303): "The problem of positive tissue elements with the periodic acid-Schiff reaction was eliminated by hydrolyzing in chromic acid instead of periodic acid." For counter staining Metanil yellow is used. Fungal conidia and hyphae are stained deep blue to purple by this method while other tissue elements, mostly the proteins, stain yellow with the counter stain. The results of this technique on our samples were interesting for 3 reasons. (1) Some of the organized ele- ments of type 1, type

One may thus think that some of the organized elements indeed contain diffused nucleic material in their interior. The present evidence, however, is not sufficient to substantiate such a supposition. We can only state that, according to one of the most specific biological staining techniques developed, there is an indication that nucleic acids are present in the interiors of some of the type 1 and type 2 organized elements. It is, however, equally possible that an as yet unknown material is present in these organized elements,

This is a production from WhiteHorse Inn about the current state of the church in America. It is a wake up call to those who have supported, been involved in and attend in places where the gospel is watered down so to be seeker-friendly.
