StomaphyX is a new and innovative revision procedure for individuals who have had Roux-en-Y gastric bypass surgery and have regained weight due to a stretched stomach pouch and/or enlarged stomach outlet (stoma). Approved by the US FDA in 2007, the StomaphyX procedure reduces the stomach pouch without traditional surgery or incisions and with minimal recovery time. It is not performed as a primary method of weight loss surgery, but as a type of revision for gastric bypass patients who have regained weight.

Another YouTuber, LilSinginGirl, suggested I learn this song. I was completely unfamiliar with it, but I tried to figure it out as rapidly as I could because I could hardly bear to listen to it even once. Almost immediately, I banged out three instrumental parts, before leaving the vocals for another day. How could I, an absolute non-vocalist, turn such obtuse shouting noises and harmonies unique to two young men into one coherent, flowing (to me) piece that wouldn't undo the kind of feel I'd developed with the instrumental backing? With much difficulty. I decided not to dwell on it, because it seemed quite beyond me. And so, the "completed" song here consists entirely of the first full run-throughs on each of four instruments, with me listening to the song only on day one, just a few times.
I don't quite know what to make of it. The fans of the original would probably hate it stylistically? My subscribers probably aren't into this strange new collection of bands that this song hails from? It's probably too sloppy for those interested in any one of those instruments? Me personally? I'm slightly amazed I managed to make anything of it at all, without exploding in frustration. But I'm not one to turn down a song request, and it was fun.
Please let me know your thoughts.
